Since the time Stupor Mundi was released, several additions and errata to the RuneQuest rules have been released by Mongoose Publishing, and many interesting debates about alternate earth settings have been held on the RuneQuest forums. It is now high time that I release some "Official Errata" for the book, both as a clarification of what might have been misinterpreted and as an invitation to discuss it with me here or on the Alternate Earth discussion group.
Excommunication (p.9)
Excommunication as a spell does not exist in Stupor Mundi. Your character will undoubtedly find suitable ways to be excommunicated by the Pope if he wishes, but this will merely mean he will no longer be officially supported by the Church. The divine spells he already knows are not lost, although it will be very difficult for him to learn more of them. Delete all references to Excommunication on page 12, too.
Reactions (p. 32)
This alternate rule is now obsolete with the new Combat Resolution Table. If you use the Mongoose Player's Update, do not use this rule.
Al-Murqiba's House (p. 50)
The sidebar title is missing. It describes Fateh Al-Murqiba's house.
